Actually this report is off. The last few days have been amazingly warm and a long period swell came in, not that I was able to get out there as the work thing was in the way. Today, and for the next few days there is rain forecast and you can see it coming in off the ocean. These are all good things.

Paul, our son is serving in the Peace Corps and is in Guatemala.He is in the Dept of Quiche and your stories sound so much like his experience - the dogs, hiking, beautiful forests, the people, etc. Thank you for sharing - we will be visiting your blog often and comparing your experiences in 2006 and now our son's experiences. It does not appear much has changed in Guatemala. We plan to visit in September. His blogspot is guatemiller.blogspot.com or another peace corp volunteer in Guatemala is undersongadventure.blogspot.com -- Thanks Paul for the stories not only about Guatemala -- all of them!
